Copper & Cleats

Helping kids get in the game.

From our early clinics. Today, Copper & Cleats supports kids through the local leagues they already play in.

Every child should have the opportunity to play. For families in rural communities, registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and transportation can become barriers to participation. Copper & Cleats helps reduce those barriers.

Rather than creating another league, the program provides participation assistance and essential equipment through the leagues, schools, recreation programs, and community organizations already serving children.

Support may include

  • Youth sports registration and participation assistance
  • Essential sports equipment
  • Equipment donations to leagues and community organizations
  • Scholarships for qualifying youth participants
  • Partnerships supporting underserved rural communities

Sports may include baseball, softball, soccer, flag football, basketball, volleyball, and other organized youth activities.

Why Sports?

Participation builds confidence, discipline, teamwork, responsibility, resilience, friendships, and a sense of belonging.

Sometimes the biggest barrier is simply getting through the gate.
